Ask AI about your case, with every answer traced to an email

CaseRelief's evidence file was built for AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot. Here's how to get clear answers from it, and how to check each one in seconds.

Why the file works so well with AI

Getting started

  1. Save your evidence file as Markdown. In CaseRelief, under Output, pick Markdown (it's the default), then press Extract Evidence.
  2. Open your AI assistant and attach the file to a new chat.
  3. Paste the starter prompt below, so the AI knows how the file works.
  4. Ask your questions, one at a time.

A quick note: each AI service has its own privacy policy for what you share with it, so it's worth a look before you upload.

Check every answer

The email numbers make checking quick. Open your evidence file, press Ctrl+F and type the number the AI gave you, like #0142. You land right on that email and can read it for yourself.

When the quote matches, it's confirmed. When something looks off, ask the AI to look again at that email.

Working with a big file

A few years of email can make a large file. If the AI says the file is too long, or its answers stick to the most recent emails:

The AI finds it. The emails prove it.

AI is a fast way to find what matters. The evidence itself is the emails: file the emails, or your numbered CaseRelief exhibits, and check any AI summary against them before you rely on it. Some courts ask you to say when AI helped prepare a filing, so check your court's rules.

When you're ready to file, CaseRelief Pro turns the emails you picked into numbered PDF exhibits with a cover index, every page stamped with its source. See a sample binder (PDF).
